China could overtake the US to become biggest ecommerce market in 2015

According to Boston Consulting Group (BCG), China could overtake the US to become biggest ecommerce market in the world in the next four years.

Waldemar Jap, a partner at BCG reported that China has the biggest number of Internet users with more than 483 million, becoming a world leader.

The BCG report predicts it will be more Internet users in e-commerce, 329 million are expected to be in 2015. E-commerce in China will go from representing 3.3 percent of the country's total retail value today to 7.4 percent in 2015, an expansion that took the United States a decade to achieve, it added.

Besides, related businesses as the shipping companies and their infrastructure are better in China which makes it successful for trading.

Likewise, a deep analysis said that users prefer buying in online shopping platforms as 360buycom or Taobao, an Alibaba property.

In China, shoppers are not only interested in the way the products are delivered. More than a 4 percent are afraid of the exchange of theirs purchases in case it could be falsified while transportation. Chinese companies try to solve this, generating enthusiasm and confidence among buyers".

This study was based on 4000 online shoppers surveyed.
